A Brain Fart

Often, I wonder what others would think of me if I were to honestly share my thoughts. For example, my first day of class I realized there were a few things I absolutely love about BYU. I love smelling others perfume in the open air of the courtyard, watching the geeks skip steps down the stairs so they're not late to class, back-packs with wheels, and my very favorite- stumbling upon the many Rip Van Winkles. Why do I love these things? Because they make me laugh. I don't know whether this makes me a candidate for "the jerk of the month club" or not, but I don't care. Sometimes I want to know what others will think so badly that I consider writing about these things on facebook. I start to think of a really clever and witty ways to bring up back-packs with wheels. I honestly spend so much time thinking about what would be the funniest way to write a short comment- it's embarrassing. Then, in my mind, I imagine people going to my post and literally laughing out loud- they couldn't help but comment or like my post/status, right?

Come to find out, this is what makes my husband hate facebook. Just minutes ago he tells me that he can't stand people who write things on facebook just to see what others will say. Do you want to know what I said to him? I told him that that is exactly what I use facebook for! He says that facebook was made to "stay connected!" Let's be honest, it used for bragging, cyber-stalking, and displaying your wits.
