I really try not to be a complainer, especially when something is out of my control, but I just need to get my beef with the snow off of my chest. As soon as I see snow falling, I start to worry about the following:
-Slick Roads
-Wet Shoes
-Wet Socks
-Gloves
-Umbrellas
-Messy Hair
-Running Nose
-Slick Sidewalks
Just to name few... It's sad that I worry so much about the weather. I really didn't realize how bad it was until the weather was warm again. There is something about sunshine and warm weather that makes a person feel blissfully content.
It makes me smile how easily I forget the things I appreciate. Steve and I moved into a older home with only one sink in the kitchen and zero garbage disposal. I never realized what a luxury it was to have a two sided sink and a garbage disposal until I didn't have them. This experience has definitely taught me to really appreciate the small (very small indeed) things.

The Perfect Birthday
My perfect birthday would start with my entire family waking up at the same time in the same room after a huge sleepover. We would all smell great and look fantastic so that every second could be spent having fun and no time would be wasted getting ready for the day. For breakfast, we would have my favorite french toast casserole (which my family only makes on Christmas day).
After breakfast, we would go to a park and have fun playing, throwing a frisbee, and skipping rocks.
After the park, we would have lunch at a restaurant where they sing and give us free ice cream.
Next, we would all go shopping. Everyone will look at everything I try on, and beg to be the person who gets to buy it for me.
After hours of shopping we would either make homemade pizza or have a bbq depending on what I am craving.
Lastly, we would end the night with an out door movie. Each couple would have their one love sac to lay on, and it would be so comfortable that your neck couldn't possibly hurt. There would be a smorgousborg a movie snacks at our disposal, and the popcorn would stay hot no matter how long it was in our bowls.

Dear Blog
I can't believe it's March already and we are half way through the semester. Time really does fly when a person stays busy. A lot of things are going to be happening in the coming months. Steve's birthday is next Sunday, Jenny is coming to town the Sunday after that, then, Steve's brother comes home, it's conference, then my birthday, and the day after that school is over, then three family member's birthdays, my mother-in-law graduates, after that, more birthdays and holidays, and finally my baby will be here!!
So, nothing but good things to experience until little miss Miner joins our family. Life will change so much, but we are so happy that our family is expanding and we will be able to feel the joy of parenthood. Honestly, I never thought I could love my baby any more than I did when I heard the heart beat, then there was the ultra-sound, and that made me love her even more. I can't even begin to imagine what it will be like to hold her in my arms. What a wonderful gift we have been given...
